Skin Calm is a mother-daughter project that began with hand dermatitis.
Over the years it became a healthy helping hand to lend.
In 2009, my mother, Kazi developed dyshidrotic eczema. A condition that mainly affected the insides of her fingers with itchy fluid-filled tiny blisters. This went on for an uncomfortable while until she decided to attend soap making classes using the cold process method.
She has always had a love for natural ingredients and ways of living,
therefore the love for creating handmade soap became a great passion.
Throughout the years she has experimented with different flavours, testing ingredients and their impacts.
The soap series initially included a few variations: charcoal, neem, calendula, and turmeric. Since then, Kazi has been perfecting her work and has created an established set of soap scents for all to enjoy! ♡
